Buffalo Grove Water Damaged Flooring
This hardwood flooring was supported by a plywood sub floor. The water seeped from the joints of the hardwood planks, into the laminated sheathing and also dampened the not visible floor joists of this crawlspace structure. To minimize the damage, rapid water, and moisture removal was our main concern. Some planks were non-salvageable and were discarded. This opened up the exposed water soaked areas for moisture extraction. Moisture meters were used to monitor the progress until the content reached about 10%. Our equipment worked for a number of days to attain this level. The installation of new and old planks was done, a new finish was applied, and the home owner was very pleased with the outcome. He stated he felt "Like it never even happened." For water, fire, or mold issues with your home or business, give us a call 24/7 at (847) 279-1940.
