Lake Zurich Post Storm Cleanup

The storm left behind several inches of water in this Lake Zurich finished basement. The walls were soaked with the wicking water, and SERVPRO water damage cleanup and restoration technicians executed a "flood cut." This non-salvageable material plus the saturated carpeting were tossed following local codes. Shown are various pieces of water removal and dehumidifying equipment, all green, as is our Green Fleet that arrives to save the day for our customers. It takes some days to extract the moisture from the concrete pad and framing adequately. The drop-ceiling was inspected to ensure that no dampness which could lead to mold infestations was present. The basement, with professional help, is now ready for a general contractor to rebuild it to the desires of our customer without fear of latent secondary storm or water damage from lingering moisture.
