Fire Damage – Lake Zurich Home

Fire damage at this Lake Zurich home started with a grease fire on the stovetop in the kitchen. The fire burned at very high temperatures and spread quickly. The fire expansion didn’t stop until it had burnt through the ceiling of the kitchen and portions of the roof. The remainder of the house primarily was affected by soot and smoke damage. Windows also had been broken out, and they would need to be boarded up to keep the elements out. Tarps would need to be placed on the damaged sections of the roof. It was clear that a multitude of services would be required to put the property back to preloss conditions. SERVPRO of Buffalo Grove / Lake Zurich would be able to perform most of the work and coordinate any elements that they were not prepared to handle.
