Buffalo Grove Fire and Water Damage

This two-story home in the Buffalo Grove region suffered a significant fire in another wing of the structure. The heated air transported the visible soot onto the walls of this stairwell, and also the ceiling. The extinguishing efforts doused this area with a large volume of water that soaked into the porous surfaces of the gypsum board, rendering it weak and crumbling and needing replacement.
